On this day...

Noah says his favourite restaurant is Subway (reminds him of Peru! Ha!).

Blaise calls Wonder Woman "wonder lemon" or "wondermelon".

Haddon pulled himself up to standing in his crib (yesterday).

Jude continues to have boundless energy.

Zebras not horses

I took the boys to get their eyes checked but since Blaise doesn't know all his letters yet, the optometrist showed him pictures instead of letters.
All of the pictures were in black and white and the very first picture was a horse and when asked what it was, he responded,
"Um...I don't know. A...zebra!"
I like the way he thinks.

eavesdropping...

Overheard from the kitchen...

Noah to Blaise: do you know what 1+1 is?
Blaise: nope.
Noah: 2
Blaise: oh.
Noah: do you know what 2+2 is?
Blaise: no.
Noah: it's how old you're going to be.
Blaise: 4?
Noah: yes!

Do you know what 4+4 is?
Blaise: no.
Noah: how old am I?
Blaise: 2? 3?
Noah: no! How old am I?
Blaise: 3!
Noah: no. I'm 8.
Blaise: oh. Say it again.
Noah: how old am I?
Blaise: 8.
Noah: right. So 4+4 is 8.
Blaise: oh!

Blaise-isms

Blaise at 3 years, 10 months says calls spaghetti, "ska-petti".

And he almost never uses the conjunction "don't". Instead he will say "do not". As in, "I do not like that hamburger." Or
"Blaise, what happened to your shorts? Why are they all wet?"
"I do not know!"

He also is referred to by and answers to the following nicknames:
Blaisey
Blaisey-boy
Blaisey Lumpkins
Kisakye
Crazy/Lazy Blaisey
Blaiseroo

Perfection

Jamie: who do you want to put you to bed? Mama or Daddy?
Blaise: Mama. Because she is much more perfect than you.

Blaise-isms

Blaise @ 3 years 10 months

When saying "rock, paper, scissors" he says it like "rockah, paper, scissors" and I love it so much.

Similarly he calls "rocket blasters", "rocker blasters".

Best. 😍

I don't want to forget...

When Blaise says "last night" he's referring to anything in the past.
"Remember last night when it was Christmas?"
Oh Blaisey! 😂
