Noah says his favourite restaurant is Subway (reminds him of Peru! Ha!).

Blaise calls Wonder Woman "wonder lemon" or "wondermelon". 

Haddon pulled himself up to standing in his crib (yesterday).

I took the boys to get their eyes checked but since Blaise doesn't know all his letters yet, the optometrist showed him pictures instead of letters.

All of the pictures were in black and white and the very first picture was a horse and when asked what it was, he responded,

"Um...I don't know. A...zebra!"

Noah to Blaise: do you know what 1+1 is?

Blaise: nope.

Noah: 2

Blaise: oh.

Noah: do you know what 2+2 is?

Blaise: no.

Noah: it's how old you're going to be.

Blaise: 4?

Noah: yes!

Do you know what 4+4 is?

Blaise: no.

Noah: how old am I?

Blaise: 2? 3?

Noah: no! How old am I?

Blaise: 3!

Noah: no. I'm 8.

Blaise: oh. Say it again.

Noah: how old am I?

Blaise: 8.

Noah: right. So 4+4 is 8.

Blaise at 3 years, 10 months says calls spaghetti, "ska-petti".

And he almost never uses the conjunction "don't". Instead he will say "do not". As in, "I do not like that hamburger." Or 

"Blaise, what happened to your shorts? Why are they all wet?" 

"I do not know!"

While on a walk with Jude and Blaise I said "okay let's cross over here, folks."

Blaise pipes up with, "Folks?!? I wanna be folks!"

Too creative

I overheard the boys watching a cartoon and Jude cheered saying he really liked that particular cartoon. Noah said it was okay but sometimes he didn't like it because it was "too creative". 

I don't even think he knows what that means but it was pretty cute and funny. 

Batman

Yesterday Blaise got his face painted like Batman and then later on he needed help getting into his high chair and (in Batman mode) called out to me, "Help me, Woman! Help!" 

He cracks me up...

Jude sings

Today in the car on the way to church I had turned on the Christian radio station and "Lord I need you" came on and Jude right away said, "I know this song!" and proceeded to sing along. It was all I could do to not break down into a blubbering mess.
This kid. He's got a heart for Jesus and it's so blindingly beautiful when it shines through.
